Okay. So. I have my Gen 3 Tesla Wall charger for my Model Y.
What adapter should I buy that will safely charge my R1S? It seems that the Lectron may fry it but isn’t 100% confirmed? Tesla Mini adapter? But wouldn’t that be the same thing and cause a potential issue as well?
I just bought a used one in Austin. VIN is 79**.
They said they just picked it up 6 or so weeks ago. Really curious when the build date was. Think I can ask Rivian? Pretty sure it was built after the safety fix and sound system update.
about to do a Austin to the Bay Area on the 16th. I’ve already routed it with ABRP but still worried about a few stretches. Reading this has made me a bit more comfy to the drive.
Oh nice! Yeah. That’s the plan. I also plan on just sleeping in the back with the seats down whenever I need to rest. Really excited and I figured there’d be some interesting spots considering the route I’ll be taking.
Really excited.
Hello! Just secured a beautiful almost new R1S down in Austin. I put the trip into ABRP and it seems pretty straight forward.
Has anyone made any similar trips or have any pro tips on potential areas to avoid and or different routes to take/not to take?
Thank you!
I am currently the highest bidder on a R1S on CarsAndBids and it's at $83,000. Launch Edition white/white with 22"s. It has a reserve but I am almost certain that it's higher than $83 and that someone else will come in and bid prior to the ending in 30 minutes. If not, that's an incredibly LOW...
Currently bidding on an R1S. Sticker price was $77k. Most likely what will happen is that the reserve will for sure not be met but I hope that afterwards a deal can be made with the seller (If I am the winner that is).
Outrageous that on FindMyElectric people are trying to sell them for $100k+...
Thinking of bidding on the new Limestone R1S on C&B, but I see that the persons purchase price was $80k, so I am guessing they're trying to get $90k+..
I do see that "Reserve" is selected. :(
I am very aware of privacy issues with almost every piece of tech. No need to explain anything to me. The US in general is heavily under surveillance in almost every sector. No getting away from it 100%, which is unfortunate.
I've also driven a Tesla since early 2018. Been used to it for...
Yeah, mine are 2 and the other turns 5 (in October + new one arrives that month). I figured we can maybe try to make the Y work for a bit and if not, upgrade then. I’ve test drove the R1S a few times and the 2nd time i spent the time planning out what 3 car seats would be like.
2 in the middle...
