If you are not ready, do NOT confirm your configuration. I am not sure how long you can delay your delivery by not confirming. It seems like Rivian is trying to clear outstanding orders as quickly as possible, so you might be nudged to proceed at some point. GR

That shouldn't be used as an excuse. The customers shouldn't be inconvenienced just because they need to fill some quotas. GR

Thanks. I guess it's not based on WA rules/laws since you paid more than what was allowed. Perhaps since the transaction is technically based in Illinois, that's what they are basing it on. For states that allow direct sales, then it's whatever stipulated by that state's rules/laws. GR

I am guessing you didn't register in WA. If so, how much were you charged? Is that what was charged to you? If it varies by state based on its registration (vs. purchase), then it should be the amount capped by the state I reside in, correct? GR

That's not what I have been told multiple times recently. I was told by my guide if I don't take delivery of my assigned R1S within a week or so of it being ready, I will lose my $1K deposit and unmatching VIN is apparently not an option if the vehicle is ready. GR

I agree. How did that even pass QC at the factory or inspection at SC? If it were me, I probably would have rejected it rather than dealing with it after delivery. I am now worried about my own delivery as they seem to be in "end of quarter rush" mode. GR

Does anyone know if the compact spare was available on the configurator before the price hike? I don't remember seeing it as an option when I recently locked in my current configuration. I will be taking delivery soon and would like to get pre-March pricing if possible. GR
