    Based on reports I have seen here, there are definitely people jumping the line (unless those people lie). I guess you need to pull the right strings. This may be the reason Rivian is keeping this process opaque as it allows them to offer the "right" people an ability to cut in front of long...

    Just out of curiosity, is this in-house sound system the one that was originally designed for the Explore trim that obviously no longer exist? If so, Rivian did try to charge a premium for the Meridian name if these two systems do indeed performed similarly. GR

    I am hoping it will be at least be 300 miles real world range to make road trips more pleasant. The pricing is encouraging based on extrapolation from UK, though. GR

    Most people won't "need" off-road capability of the R1S and if this is competitively priced, it can take away a good portion of new pricing customers. Depending on what Volvo really mean by "well equipped" at below $80K, that would be pretty competitive to even pre-March pricing! GR
