You don’t need a puck. First I am sure you can get one shipped to you in a day. Second you don’t need a puck. There are 4 plastic covers that can be removed that exposes the frame. It’s in the manual and I show it on the video I made for rotating tires.

I really like my 1st gen quad R1S but I definitely am jealous of those updates. They all seem like they make a very good car an excellent car and help to keep Rivian in business. I don’t feel too bad since I was able to get my R1s for a great price.

Amazon owns a large stake of Rivian. I don’t think Amazon is very cozy with Apple since the Apple Store fees that Amazon has been fighting. Could Amazon be the barrier to Apple CarPlay in Rivians?

Ok so I would like to update my complaint. For music this feature is mostly fine since it comes in when the new song starts and that’s an expected alert. During talk radio is what I don’t like. The pop up just comes up in the middle of the segment and is not useful.

Having the choice of buying my R1s quad motor with adventure pack for 69.5k vs the new price for a tri or quad motor I will take my original. ( Price for the quad large pack with adventure pack and 20” wheels was 81k, -7.5k federal credit and 4k state credit. )

Is there any word on the price for the new Quad motor?

Permanent would be better then pop up every min that way you can see what the song is when ever you want to know and not just when it pops up but I think the song is also on the main screen so I am not sure it needs to be an alert on the drivers screen.
