I am just wondering if there are reports of people stealing Rivians. Certainly that can be carjacked but I was wondering about them being stolen outright.

I would be very happy with 25k miles. My wife’s 2020 GLE with with 20” with Alenza Sport A/S RFT lasted 14K.

With the last update I don’t think this is occurring anyone. I will keep and eye out but it did not happen today as I pulled in the garage.

Which steering wheel button do you press? I don’t want the door to open automatically, I just want the button to be present around the house so it’s one button press verses two.

Interesting. My guild has been amazing and very responsive. I have had my car for 5 months now and the guide still responds quickly in filling out state rebate paper work or reporting software bugs.

I think this is pretty well established. Dc fast charging is a wash to gas. Home charging at 15cents or less is about 1/4 cost of gas. Obviously the type of car matters too.

This shows them charging on the passenger side. It is possible to have two charge points that this can be useful however passenger side charging makes zero sense. A passenger side charger is plan stupid imo. A charger front and back on the drivers side can be useful.

New update is very nice. Only loss of function I see is that you can not bring up garage doors while in reverse. I usually close the garage before I change to drive. Now I just have to switch to drive first before closing my garage. Quick action buttons that are present around my home...

I hope they have a higher performance version early on and it is done right I will trade my R1s for an r2s.

Good point. I did not know you can turn off the auto switching of day night modes. While it’s not a fix it’s an improvement. Personally I like the night mode better anyway.

I have reset the infotainment system Twice for other issues and this still occurs. I have never reset my car.

Wow. I can say I never have put much stock in any opinion from CR but watching that is unbelievable. Maybe they should stick to reviewing household items like vacuums.

I am expecting a fix for this but it’s taking longer than I would like. A common issue with the camera, particularly when backing out out a darker garage is the feed freezing because the system is changing from a dark mode to a light mode as it is much brighter outside. Rivian needs to...

I hope it does not look like that. I love my R1s but the front is the thing I like least, it’s too cartoonish. The community renderings of the r2 use thinner lines for the lights and that makes it look so much more mature

Let’s hope Rivian can make the signature style of the rivian look great more like the community rendering because I do feel that looks more mature and elegant.

I agree that the design is so so but I have moved passed it. Overall the best description I have heard is the front looks cartoonish. However community renderings of the R2 front look pretty good.

Definitely dumb story to blame on EV’s. Charging station was not functioning and that is a problem and the cold makes it worse. Gas cars and diesel vehicles are having problems too. My Rivian has been fine except range has been lower
