I am in a similar situation but I files my own taxes. I just sent the paper correction and have been waiting about 5 weeks thus far. I can update you if or when I get my check.
I love my R1s and will not be getting a cybertruck and the numbers will need to get real world testing but it is the most efficient ev truck out there with similar or higher range compared to rivian all terrain wheels.
Every manufacturer will copy ideas and they all will be better for it.
Today for the first time I the car is not auto locking or unlocking. I made no changes but my app did get updated. I tried turning off and on proximity locking but so far it has not helped. Anyone else having this issue?
I looked at the article but do they extrapolate on what they are calling reliability? Is the car leaving people stranded or are these minor issues that are causing annoyances? Do they say when the study was conducted? and now many cars they sampled to get these numbers?
I have avoided valet parking. I don’t have the key fob with me to make it easier. I also don’t want the valet to have the full power of the car. I am assuming a valet mode will be coming in an update.
I guess the best thing is to avoid valet parking for now but I was wonder what others have done.
I do think the article misses the point. Personally nobody should think they are better than other for the car they drive. I love my R1s but in no way do I think I am saving the planet or do I think the guy in the ice car next to me is destroying the planet.
We are working to more sustainably...
Check my 20 inch wheels. No suggestion at all that they are directional. I know I can remove parts of the underbody cover to expose the frame and use part of the frame for a jack stand.
What about the where the control arm attaches to the frame?
So, I am planning on doing my own tire rotation (maybe) but I am a little confused. I saw some less than elegant ways this was done on YouTube but and I was hoping to do be better. I guess I have not looked to see if the tires are directional meaning they should not change sides. So for now I...
I was wondering about doing my tire rotation in the future. Only have 1K miles and was going to wait till 5K. However, I am still uncertain of the best way. I was planning on using a hydraulic floor jack with a puck to raise the car up but then I was thinking of using jack stands. I was...
I just took delivery of a R1s with a 17k serial number. I am definitely biased since I want to like the company and car so likely many of us are. With that being said I have not had issues at all yet.
Quad motors still have advantages in some ways like torque vectoring and rock crawling. Ideal would be in-house quad motors over the Bosch ones. They could then optimize 4 motors to their needs.
Things are only going to get better and better.
Thank you. I learned two things. Voltage drop needs to be measured under load and you need to be sure the measurements are multiple and very close together since suppled voltage can change. Thinking now as well when I first measured the voltage drop the torque at the breaker may have not been...
Well maybe it is just a measurement error or timing error. I took the panel off and opened the charger checking the voltage back and forth since it was suggested the voltage can vary over time. This time the voltage drop was trivial. The circuit was not being used but the voltage at the panel...
