    Iā€™m a ham - amateur extra. Iā€™d be curious how much qrm the vehicle generates. Honestly though, I havenā€™t bothered with installing a 2m/440 in my last few vehicles. My 2 cents is that if youā€™re actually trying to maintain comms in remote areas, an inreach or sat phone is a way better solution.

    I take it you're not a software dev? Just because you don't need certain variables or conditionals now, doesn't mean you won't in the future. I also wouldn't assume that this is what actually happened anyways.

    Just wanted to point out, that if you actually have a 40 amp circuit you shouldnā€˜t charge any faster than 32 amps. You need a 50 amp circuit to charge at 40 amps.

    My 48amp rivian wall charger is outside in my driveway. I havenā€™t had any throttling in the hot weather here in Austin this summer.
