My R1T is the fifth vehicle I’ve had a high light transmitting but low IR/UV transmitting film installed on the inside of the moonroof and windshield. I live in South Carolina and this makes a HUGE difference in comfort. No problems at all. When a windshield gets cracked from a stone, the...
I put my truck in car wash mode well before being on deck for the washing machine. Put it in neutral with brake pedal and stalk. None of these problems.
My 2010 BMW 335d (E90) has turn signals very much like my 2022 R1T. They are not mechanically coupled with the steering column, but electronically coupled with wheel position sensors. A lot of folks customize the cars’ coding and plenty of third party apps are available to assist that. My...
I agree with @jeeden. Plug an ozone generator into one of the 120V outlets and run the HVAC on recirc. A big ozonator will fix it in about 20 minutes, a small one in a couple of hours.
I bought mine used in February 2023 as well. It had 1400 miles on it. Now it has 42,000. Like you, I love this truck.
My advice for sun shielding: go to a local tint shop and have them install the lightest tint IR/UV blocking film they have on the inside of the windshield and moonroof...
The solution is so simple you’ll slap yourself in the head. Simply press the accelerator lightly with your right foot while pressing the brake with your left. Modulate the brake to move slowly and steadily, much like you used to do with the brake on your ICE with automatic transmission.
I’m wondering if there’s a way to make the truck revert to the climate control settings used last. I want my air setting to always be recirc and my rear settings to be face and floor. My truck won’t stay told.

For a system that old, I suspect it is an A-type inverter, probably SE7600A, StorEdge. It will only back up a small dedicated loads panel. Turning off the DC disconnect (the round black switch) will accomplish rapid shutdown.
Otherwise, the outdoor disconnect is a standard...
Yes, that’s the point of our courtesy notification, although it is a moot one. We always install SolarEdge systems, and they shut down completely when grid power goes down. On a system that remains energized during a grid outage, the outdoor disconnect for first responders shuts down all power.
I’m a solar installer. That limit only exists if you request interconnection. We install a few systems that are very large with batteries and configure them for maximum self-consumption and zero export. If you never export, there is no need to interconnect and you don’t have to play by the...
