  1. 20" Inch Toyo Open Country A/T III EV 275/65/20 116H tires review

FWIW Rivian service inflates my 20" pirellis to 51 psi as part of their courtesy check, not the 48 from the door sticker. And it's even written up in the service report as 51. That's the max inflation shown on the tire.
  2. Random Rivian Photos of the Day - Post Yours! 📸

Watching the sun set on the western rim of the Great Divide Basin (Wyoming). ...near the White Mountain petroglyphs (200-2000 years old).
  3. Yellowstone travel/charging advice

I'm here now, thanks for the comments here. Jackson parking has 1 L2 and 2 L3, advertising 62 and 50 kW but I only got 31 out of the 62. Currently free. Fall river elec coop has stations controlled by rionadi in Driggs, Ashton, Island park. I managed to get thru the klunky website and charge in...

Surprised to find cell service so "working" remotely. Warning: dead fish below! Second breakfast:
  5. Colorado Tax Credits

Im about the same timeline but got a paper check yesterday because "fraud prevention". The protest reviewers apparently are reasonably intelligent and actually looked at my documents. The 4 reasons for rejection contradicted each other and my documents, which I explained politely but sternly in...
  6. Upgrading Gen 1 (14mm) Tie Rods to Stronger Gen 2 (16mm) Tie Rods

New tie rods apparently came in sometime during MY 2023. See another recent thread (same OP, but they didn't reference it here?) (or others, search DHD). if you can't tell by looking or measuring, definitely call and they can tell by your VIN.
  7. Is Electrified Overland a scam?

I came here to learn about the company in this thread. Others brought in another company and are trying to put axes and grinders in my hands. I merely tried to caution against expecting better from the alternative suggestion, or really any pay now produce sometime later company. My experience...
  8. Is Electrified Overland a scam?

I'm glad run 1 went well for you. Run 2 delays and missed promised dates could perhaps be expected, but there were no updates on their forum or by email unless prodded by customers. So no different than this thread's situation and switching would probably not improve OP's experience.
  9. Colorado Checking In

Not defending the DC but they and I think regular news in general do give any confirmed specifics. I recall just before this, a ford fire was reported... found it: Ford truck is fully engulfed in flames in Boulder Monday afternoon and in that article they do say "non-electric Ford F-150" ;)
  10. What tie-down strap fits inside the R1S Cargo Tie-Down

  11. Gen 2 tie rods stronger than Gen 1?

Yeah, sorry, pics & invoices were on my old phone and it's such a pain to post pictures here since the forum hates firefox and chrome is so klunky at it. Old M14: PT00001954-E New M16: PT00038426-E
  12. Gen 2 tie rods stronger than Gen 1?

We don't know exactly when it changed, you'll just have to measure. Mine is one of the last 2024, from March, VIN 41XXX. Service can tell by the vin and can order the correct part number if you buy a spare (but double check it on arrival).
  13. Phantom / Vampire Drain Solution Works! Using 12v Battery Tender

I was looking at this one, currently a "big spring deal" fwiw: B0756PV96N
  14. Colorado Checking In

Great choice. I have them on a Gen1 R1S in Boulder. I'll be available Mon eve or anytime Tues. Fair warning, they're muddy.

More springtime fun. Had to use a broken down fire ring to get down to 3 deg roll so camp mode leveling would work.

  17. Is Electrified Overland a scam?

And even more delays and no communication based on his frunk tank and the 2.5 yr old thread you linked!
  18. *PRE-SALE* on now for MPP Ultra Stainless Steel Brake Lines (R1T / R1S)

I took another look at the fronts (I'd looked before when adding the missing horn and inspecting the tie-rods). That is a somewhat long circuitous routing touching most everything! I went ahead and ordered the MPP hoses, but if you have a picture of the fronts installed too, that would be nice...
