What are you referring to? there’s replies from Boxgod as late as April 18th 2025 about the water tank in multiple threads.
The first run of frunk water tanks were delivered. The pre order people and forum users gave lots of input and he responded in timely fashion. They’ve been great at communication in my opinion and have since updated the pump for the tank, again based on polling the forum. And now they’ve been focused on a utility slider that’s been his main focus. So. Not sure what you mean no comms. There’s plenty of happy wooter tank owners out there that they’re lining up for the next project he’s working on.
To the OPs point, and as others mentioned these third party vendors are sometimes doing it in their “spare time” or as a side gig, building complex and well built products to meet the demands of Rivian owners. I’ve supported a few kickstarter projects in the past for example that never went anywhere but it part of being an early adopter in my experience.
But I sure do wish every thing had a delivery timeframe like Amazon prime and build quality like an Apple product.

I'm glad run 1 went well for you. Run 2 delays and missed promised dates could perhaps be expected, but there were no updates on their forum or by email unless prodded by customers. So no different than this thread's situation and switching would probably not improve OP's experience.

That operation is a different outfit. If you got an axe to grind about that one, maybe start a new thread. Or take it up with boxgods directly. Also, are you not aware of the chaos the on-off-on tariffs have created within the past 100+ days? If not fully produced overseas, pretty sure both utilize components that are produced overseas. Expect projects like these to either cease or get a lot more expensive.

I came here to learn about the company in this thread. Others brought in another company and are trying to put axes and grinders in my hands. I merely tried to caution against expecting better from the alternative suggestion, or really any pay now produce sometime later company. My experience had nothing to do with tariffs and AFAIK lack of email and forum posts were not caused by tariffs. I'll keep watching and hope the OP gets a good product but I'll shut up and you all can have the last word.

Well going back to topic of this thread. I received my slide and it works great. A little bit of finessing to get it aligned. I think my gear tunnel doors don’t sit flush so i have to raise the driver side up my 1/4 in so it doesn’t ride the plastic rail so much. Other than that I think it works amazing! The company is great and they delivered a great product. Plus followed my delivery instructions and I was missing 1 screw and they shipped a replacement the next day. I would recommend them again and just understand new production products can have delays.
