While this looks nice, a lot depends on the road/scenery around you. If you are driving on busy interstate or a crappy road, this could look real bad :). I like the idea of switching to this view in Offroad mode, so that you don't have to look to your right to see the camera view.

IMHO this should be the same as gas stations with long cables, with cars having the gas lid on either side of the car depending on the make.
