Oh, I never took the cover off. They told me the whole thing was one unit that couldn't be disassembled and by the time the quote came in the tape had been working well so I decided not to mess with it.
thanks. Yeah all makes sense.
it was a random situation that popped up, not a planned outing where I would have taken a high volume pump.
I was mostly worried/wondering if breaking the onboard inflator would affect the suspension but it sounds like those are separate units. Not that I want to...
I inflated a handfull of pool floaty type things, the vinyl loungers and whatnot. At one point the compressor took a break for a couple minutes. Didn't think much of it, but then when I went to unplug the hose the connector was super hot, too hot to touch. I wasn't using high pressure at all for...
Yes, once they added the data screen with battery temp to the drive mode screen I could see on the next road trip that when battery was approximately room temp (can't recall exact temp it seemed to hone in on) no conditioning, colder and the car would heat it up for pre-conditioning, if it was...
Thanks for the reminder, I hadn't heard from them in a while, but I just looked and missed a message from them.
Same for me, $6k to replace the entire liftgate including paint :(
I really can't imagine doing it for that cost vs the $10 for a roll of tape that works well enough I completely...
Recently my R1S has not been preconditioning the battery when I set a charger destination in the nav.
I’m curious if this is because of mild temperatures (60s and 70s recently). Or perhaps because I’m not going past the charger, that is I’m setting the destination as the charger so it might...
Work In Progress, but we've been restoring the pond in our yard which is a habitat for native frogs. Recently hasn't been holding water, but getting it fixed up for more frogs next year. Still working on the plants and surrounding zone.
Turns out that whole upper piece is plastic so I don’t think it’s bent from the branch strike, and the gasket matches up fine.
Hopefully just need that lens replaced.
for now taped it up with some 3M auto repair tape that I hope will keep water out of there.
We backed into a branch and it cracked the clear cover over the brake light on the top of the liftgate. It also maybe bent the liftgate where it meets the body, though I'm not totally sure what it was like before.
When the car is on it blows a fairly strong stream of air out of the cracked...
Very excited for the target charging at planned stops. The time charging never was helpful as speeds vary so I always had to reroute on phone to get a real stopping point
