If i had to guess, Tesla alreadfy has some sort of API that the manufacturer's Navs point to that tell them which chargers they can use vs the other ones

Hey all, Anyone have any insight into why there aren't many R1S dual motors in the shop (at least in Canada). It seems almost every single one is a Quad and 1-2 PDMs at any given time. Whenever a DM pops up, it gets snatched in a matter of minutes which leads me to wonder why they won't produce...

Do we think a price cut is in order to stimulate demand? I've always said R1s would fly off the shelves near pre-price increase prices.

They gotta be somewhere lol. I had my demo drive just in the blast couple of days and they had easily 15-20 trade-ins in the lot in Vaughan.

I thought it was an R1 refesh but then noticed the rear window on the white looks smaller than the one on the green. So either they've changed the dimensions on the R1 (no way), or this is the R2. If it's the R2 it's bigger than I expected which makes me think it's fake

Yeah, i was confused too. The Configure option went away completely for me a few days back (i'm a preorder holder who hasn't configured yet). Even in the shop, they had a "Configure" placeholder and even that has gone away the last few days since they updated the shop UI. I still haven't figured...
