There may be a correlation between those that ordered kit (lvl 2 and lvl 3 adapters) getting shipped a little sooner. Could make sense if they have multiple teams shipping out and one team is dedicated to those shipping the kits.

I think that is where the issue may be coming in. Something on the backend isn't connecting the existing R1 and then those are getting the "welcome to the family" email instead of the "priority" email.
What happens when you click on your existing R1 in your account? For some it's coming up with a "We got a bit off track. Let's get you back on the right path." page. I'm thinking there is some sort of disconnect on the back end that is causing those people to not receive the "priority" email for...
At some point will Rivian tell pre hike reservation holders that they need to lock in their configuration for delivery or lose pricing? Production is getting caught up, dual motor is out, max pack is out, etc. So backlog is becoming less of an issue. I’m assuming pre-hike pricing can’t be held...
