My full size 21" tire/wheel was delivered this morning by a mobile tech. Since he was coming by anyway, I set up several service items that weren't showstoppers but needed attention. The Tech arrived on time, recognized the underlying issues and took care of every squawk and he left my Tee in a...
I'm either too lazy or too disinterested (or probably both) to do all that work. (I suppose you would also need to figure in power loss between the charger and the battery too.) I just read the chart.
I currently use rivian’s wall charger (48A) for my Tee with no issues. My Tesla Y arrives next week and I plan on using the Tesla 1772 adapter with the Rivian cable. There are some reports of the Tesla 1772 and Rivian not playing together nicely and if that happens, I’ll buying the Tesla wall...
I took the Aeros off my 21’s because they were scratching the wheels. The effectiveness of them is hard to quantify. I’m OK with my efficiency without them …. But with unscathed wheels.
Cost is free to the owner. A dealer will have to pay for the battery report just like they do for CarFax. As far as me “being the product”, well, every time we use the internet .. or fire up the Tee, there’s a whole host of companies taking notice.
Enrolled this week in the Recurrent battery monitoring service this week. Figured that a crowd service source comparing my battery to others might be useful. And if and when I trade my Tee, it wouldn’t hurt to have a battery “carfax” in hand.
Did a day-trip yesterday from home base (Hendersonville, NC) to the Tesla SC in west Knoxville, TN (downhill in the rain). After test driving the Tesla Y long range, we stopped by the sister-in-law's house on the northside for a visit and then back home (uphill through rain). Left with 100%...
FWIW, when Tesla reset prices a few weeks ago, I cancelled my R1S order and ordered a Model Y to be delivered late February. It's not the same vehicle but it arrives in about 3 weeks. I can use my home and work plugins for when I drive the Tesla. I can re-evaluate the market in 12-18 months...
All purpose in daily driving (I like the get-up-and-go of 4 motors) and Conserve when there's substantial highway miles. We live in a smaller city and there's a healthy mix of city streets and 4-lane state highway with very little bumper to bumper traffic. My area in WNC is *NOT* flat - lots of...
Took delivery of my Tee on 8/9 and passed the 10k mark on my way to a nearby town for a meeting. The truck has performed splendidly (knock on wood) and I don’t have a single complaint. 2.44m/KWh over the lifetime of the truck includes an equal amount of summer, fall, and winter driving.
