I think this may be the answer. I drove a Chevy Volt for years. Electric range would tank if the heater was ever used. Most Volt owners would avoid using cabin heat by using seat heaters and steering wheel heaters which were much less of a drain on the battery.

Great pics!! I ordered my R1S almost 3 years ago with the hope of using it to tow a small water ski boat. I got my Rivian 3 months ago and picked up the new to me boat last weekend. Towing was very easy and smooth.

Nuts. I would never consider a long road trip like that in my R1S.
