Do you not realize the cameras would've been caked over with mud?
Also, others have complained about gear guard not catching some "everyday" instances also.
My father saw a story about this Rivian, he said from what he read or video he saw, Rivian wanted to see the truck, inspect it, basically just look at it, and look for anything that may potentially pop up in the future related to this flood, and fix it before its a problem. This truck is...
In all seriousness though, do they have clean, fresh water to wash a car down there? That area still has around 7k customers without power, I would guess the water/sewage systems down there also got destroyed.
Last year when I went to Maine, I looked up my projected charging stops on Plugshare, everything looked good and my planned stops had great scores. When I got to one of my stops, 3 of 6 EA chargers were broken. I had to wait at least 30 minutes to charge. This was before Rivian started doing...
To be fair to the OP, how about we keep this post they stated to their problem or solution. I won't ever buy a Tesla, but lets keep this post relevant to the Original Poster.
Probably not that many. If 95% are in all electric, why give up the gas for road trips? If they are spending that much time in EV mode, they already are rarely visiting gas stations.
In the beginning of this year, I thought I was going to trade in my 2019 Wrangler (45k miles) for something else to compliment my R1T. After a couple of Rivian service visits this year, and winter range, has me looking to replace the Rivian. Part of the thing I love about my Jeep is its a 2...
If the tire shop saw it in person and thought it was fine, I wouldn't do anything. If anything, its in the tire shops financial interest to sell you tires. And if they said it was fine, just cosmetic, I would stop worrying. Now if the tires are loud or humming, it could be an excuse to change...
And someone can say you sound like someone that is trying to pump up the stock and then dump it. Owns a Rivian but just now gets around to a forum on it? Gets upset when people say something negative, or what you perceive as negative?
If you read that someone has needed service 3 times for 3 different problems in one year, and each time it takes about 2 weeks to fix, do you read that as a negative statement, or a statement of fact?
And because of long service times, people are stuck dealing with their issues for extended...
Lowest I got was around 35 miles of range left. I had to make a choice when I was 45 miles from home whether to stop and charge, or go for it. I think the Rivian was predicting around 40 miles of range left once I got home, so I went for it. But it was also a mild night, around 70-75 degrees...
Its clear from your soapbox that you feel that way. In your original reply to this thread you said the OP should have bought a different version R1T, which wasn't available when he purchased. He gave the R1T a solid shot, for 18 months, long enough to know if he liked it or not. It wasn't a...
I've never heard of that happening to anyone else. Definitely submit a ticket. I would also try to do an actual measurement for accuracy so they know. Or do a recording (safely) if possible.
That has been my experience as well. Worst I've seen in the winter with my 1st gen R1T is 200 miles real world. And a lot of that wasn't even freeway speeds. Even if the gen 2 gets better winter range, I am not sure it will be enough of a difference (at least for me). I forgot how roomy and...
Dual performance max with 21's is still a mid size truck. He clearly states he feels like he needs a full size truck. And it isn't unusual to drive 80mph in some areas/states.
Not to mention the version you recommend (dual motor/max pack) wasn't available early on.
