I will tell you that the property owner bought an R1S right about the time the Space opened. She lobbied hard to have it put there. Won't be great for trailer access, but I actually always park back there anyway. Would be nice if they were able to reopen that access over by the dental office.
Power company is almost always the hold up. The property manager there called and asked about it. They told her any day.... Well, yeah, no crap.... ha ha ha. Mammoth just turned on and it was completed about the same time. Not the same utility, but ?
I'd like a RAN in Susanville - It would close the one gap from my area in OR all the way to San Diego using RAN down the east side - Mt Shasta to Truckee....
Actually went live late afternoon yesterday. Nice to see. Most people just travelling down 395 won't need it since Lee Vining and Bishop are only 65mi apart, but if you are towing and going up the hill, it would be nice (sadly no trailer spot though)
The 21in wheel I was looking at said it was an 8" . The different wheel sizes looked like they came from different manufacturers too, because the stamps were different font and size on all of the options. I was going to take a picture, but that's about the time that I saw our flights out that...
Yep, it was stamped on the back of the wheels that were on display in the Roadhouse.
Yes, different than the R1's - BUT, this is a much more common size. You may hear it more as 5x4.5 in Brit/American measurements. This bolt pattern is one that is on most mid-size SUV's, some heavier cars...
While the rates vary on location and brand, I will say, I've never seen wild fluctuations at a single location. Maybe once or twice a year at most (variable time of use not included)
(I don't charge at home. I charge at work and at DCFC.)
Do you use your 110v accessory power much? I use mine all the time (especially in the winter - live off grid and trickle charge my home batteries from the truck overnight on low solar days) and that is rolled into that #....
It's not a glitch according to the software team.
I'm actually in Portland right now over off Mississippi. I need to head back home soon, but if you aren't too far away I can swing by on the way?
Turns out I have the floor panel off right now too!
You pretty much can spend weeks going up the Oregon Coast if you wanted. You can't go wrong with any location really. I personally like the Garibaldi area, but I'm not your normal beach person. Every beach area is different and many have hidden things to see. Enjoy your time and don't try to...
I was fortunate enough to have been invited to join in. Had a blast. Between the panel discussions, chatting with all the engineers and other employees around, the Joy Ride, ALSO bike rides, concerts, etc... I have to say, getting to visit with everyone from other locations was the best...
1. Comma AI is not the only device, there is a clone konik.ai , but they will both will need to run the same software.
2. Ordering from comma, you will get a standard harness that will allow for lateral (steering only) control. For full function you will need to add the longitudinal adapter...
The Comma on Rivian currently uses the Lane Keep Assist system which is bound by the torque steering controller. It is limited in it's ability to turn with the torque it has available. So when you get to the tighter turns, it just can't turn the wheel enough - one way to mitigate a good...
