Yeah, no way to know, we're all just guessing here. But my wife's Model 3 RWD LFP which was the cheapest one ever made, still has full front/rear heated seats. I would hope Rivian follows suit and at least gives heated seats to all passengers. But I have no qualifications to make any...
It's an adventure vehicle made for all kinds of outdoor adventures, so I would assume every trim will always have heated seats/steering wheel at minimum.
same with us. I enjoy driving cars. I have a 3 mile commute WHEN I go to the office. So autonomous driving is really pointless to me. On the rare road trips we do, standard lane maintain and traffic aware cruise control is more than sufficient for long highway stretches.
wouldn’t that be nice if it came with lifetime RAN access? lol. Like the first Model S.
it’s not like they are all over the place to really take advantage of it (or abuse it…however they want to look at it)
I guess autonomy+ without lidar must be still be pretty good? otherwise, it seems pointless to include autonomy+ for life on the launch editions without lidar.
I find it funny too and this is not new right? Every recent anticipated car reveal has always had threads and threads of posts trying to predict what pricing and specs will be.
people get so invested in trying to predict what it will be when we just don’t know. But we WILL all know come...
They are going to reveal the price at $65k and all the reservation holders will complain causing Rivian to retroactively honor the $45k for the launch editions for those who placed orders within the same week of reveal….wait, that was so 2022…
What I worry about is with ramp up in production of R2, how fast they will keep up with building out more service centers. My last few appointments were 2-3 month wait times for simple things. I cringe to think how much worse that will get once a ton of R2's hit the road.
Tesla had that same...
For me most definitely the back window so I can easily have surfboards in there when I don't want to mount them on the roof.
Not having air suspension is actually a downside for me. I feel like they've come a long way with air suspension and reliability of them. and for efficiency, being able...
I think the ones who buy based on those definitions is much smaller than it used to. BMW - yes some buy it for the sporty performance - but I would say the vast majority buy it for the looks/image it portrays.
I think the same is for Rivian too. Many 'wish' they had this active adventure...
oh yeah for sure. And if it was cheaper I actually contemplated buying it after my first Rivian. I only cancelled my reservation last year.
if used ones got down to the $30k range id own one. I want a truck that I don’t care about the paint or scratches. The ugliness of it and no paint is...
