This is hilarious that the OP thinks that Tesla is somehow better. I’ve had four Teslas now and every single time there was some type of body damage or issues that they wouldn’t tell me unless I specifically inspected it thoroughly and had to make them fix those issues. And then here comes the...
lol, as others stated, looks like someone did very little research of the car before buying and also doesn't seem to understand the charging infrastructure available.
Before buying I did the test drive and even drove it home to make sure to test fit parking it in the garage.
I don't think I...
I’ve had two rivians now for over 3 years and have never had a bad experience with service or with the vehicle.
the wait times are longer but I’m not surprised coming from Tesla when I owned it prior to many owning them - and as the influx of vehicles came, they also ran into similar long...
With this setup, does it make it easy to slide on/off the awning with the mounts kept on the awning itself? I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to take this off when not using it.
I can't imagine it really causes that much of a reduced range when these vehicles weigh so much...but I don't have any evidence for that statement.
On my truck, I usually have the bare cross bars on the bed although I have two sets. Primarily so that I can mount my surfboards on the roof when...
I also was one of the first to get my Rivian and sold it before I lost any money on it. Now I’m back on another R1T, this time in a la that I just couldn’t pass up - $562/mo. That was a big push to deciding on that over any other EV trucks…but I also just love the R1T
Holding it 5-10 seconds for the card is annoying to me. In my Tesla and Rivian? When I surf, I turn off Bluetooth on my phone and lock the vehicles with my key card. When trying to unlock, I have to wait holding the card on the door handle for it to open whereas the Tesla immediately responds...
What’s odd is that we also have a Tesla and it works flawlessly all the time. That being said, I’ve had similar issues with our teslas in the past in certain areas where I think radio interference caused this. I almost got stranded because my phone would t unlock the car and I didn’t have a...
Same, and I haven't been bothered enough to check, but I have a feeling it's an issue with it's connectivity to your home wifi. Parked outside, it doesn't have good range so it takes a while to receive the unlock signal. I even get a failed request to unlock at times. I'm tempted to get an...
I've had the complete opposite experience with the Service Centers. i was one of the earlier deliveries and of course at that time, service was outstanding. Now that we're on our second one, the SC was backed up for 5 months on pickup day to address the various issues we found. That was crazy...
I placed two R2 reservations - I'll take it now if they would release it, panel gaps and misalignment and all. j/k, My early R1 had terrible panel alignment but I would hope by R2, they know how to do it better...we'll see
yeah, seems pretty harsh. if it's something that causes issues with actually being able to safely drive the vehicle, they will get you in sooner. But cosmetic issues, rattling, etc, get pushed out. They have to expand more service centers but that takes time.
When we got our first Tesla in...
I find it's almost around the same to charge vs gas on road trips. But I don't know about you, for us, we do maybe 1 road trip a year. That means the rest of the charging is at home on our solar grid. We save a LOT by owning 2 EV's and never filling up at gas stations anymore.
I did a road...
