Yeah back in 2015 when we got our first Tesla, the only reason we committed to it was because of the service center 20 min from our house.
Once I find out Rivian built a service center right by the Tesla SC, I felt comfortable buying one.
no way would I own a brand new manufacturer car that I...
Well looks like comments are across the board as I assumed it will be, but regardless, sonds like not much I can do about it either. I should just be glad I leased this Rivian, so I can just return it at the end and get another one - this time I'll be looking closer for drip marks :CWL:
I thought in CA this applies:
VEHICLE CODE
SECTION 9990-9993
9990. For purposes of this chapter, damage sustained by a motor
vehicle is material under any of the following circumstances:
(a) The damage required repairs having a value, including parts
and labor calculated at the...
Hey all,
I'm curious for input on what you all think is a reasonable expectation from Rivian. I picked up my second R1T and the night I got home, I noticed there were drip marks on the paint in the rear quarter panel, then I noticed the black plastic bumper had white overspray on it (my truck...
Yeah that’s correct. My brother just got a 2026 and he was all excited to get different color film for his fog lights and was bummed to find out there are none… haha
Yeah, I had the same issue until I realized I can just quickly disable auto-high beams with the stalk.
It annoys me that there is no way to separately turn on the fog lights permanently. On previous cars, I usually have them on for looks. :p yes, I'm vain...
I'm on my second Gen 1 R1T (I had the quad and now a dual large performance). I did have a Gen 2 rental for a week, and there are certainly a few things that are nice upgrades - the cameras are a night and day difference, lighting with the matrix headlights and upgraded light bar, newest Gen...
That's exactly how I felt the moment I saw the specs. I don't know how they thought that would sell at that price. A nice looking mini van is all it is.
I expected that it would come out with all kinds of camper options, built in features, etc. If they would have done that, and had 300+...
My R1T is in the SC and they gave me an R1S loaner. It's my first time being in one, and I have to say, I think it looks cool, and yes it seats more people, but that's about where it ends for me. I find myself missing my R1T. It's just has so much more utility built in.
I surf most days and...
My wife absolutely hates any kind of self driving systems becuase we've owned Tesla's since 2015 and have had so many scares that she refuses to use it anymore. So I would prefer it came without it if that meant the price would be slightly lower than one equipped with the lidar. Works for...
yeah, and the visors, you can see are also light colored. I'm hoping this is just the option for light colored interior like on the R1's. That's the biggest reason I didn't get a light seat magterial because it removes the black headliner. I know I'm probably a minority here, but I just hate...
Hard to tell but the pic where the driver is smiling at the camera, it looks like the pillars/headliner are not black. I really hope that's still an option on the R2's. I cannot stand light colored roof lining. If there is an option, I always get black.
I have yet to do a trip where I use EA and not be disappointed. lol.
Last trip in the Rivian, now that I have the NACS adaptor, I charged only at Tesla superchargers and was much happier.
