Pretty sure this is exactly or similar to what Rivian itself is doing and I would have done it myself but was encouraged to go directly to service for this.
My R1T is in for the dash rattle fix as of today - he said it would only take a few hours. Service is really quite easy and look forward to it being fixed. He said it's a known issue, they essentially use double sided tape to fix it.
Sport mode is totally undrivable for me. The truck is so jerky I really only use it on mountain roads if I want to go fast or if I’m showing someone how fast the vehicle actually is.
I was supposed to get my plates, but they never arrived and I had to call the DMV who told me they had all my information on file and I could come by, register, and pick up my plates. YMMV.
The flashlight is incredible, its one of the strongest I have used. The light on the camp speaker isn't super bright so doesn't make the best lantern, but the dock needs to be locked in order for it to charge.
I have proximity turned off at home also (don't like it activating in the garage, etc.) and the best/easiest way to lock the vehicle is just simply hitting the lock button on the upper lefthand portion of the main screen when it's in my driveway before I get out. The car locks, I get out, and...
Unreal. I was told "by the end of summer" which has come and gone - now I have to wait because they designed the shipping materials poorly. Disappointing!
They've tried. Permitting and site fees were apparently millions of dollars to locate a RAN charger in Moab area for Rivian based on someone I talked to with the company. It's not a dead idea, but extremely cost prohibitive.
There was a Halloween Mode last year that featured an owl sound instead of the chirp when locking among other things:

Well I just did a 12 hour test, from about 7pm to 7am in my garage Gear Guard Off at home to test the new update. Very happy with results. Lost just 1 mile of range and used only 0.6 kWh. This seems like a pretty big improvement.
