losing about 3% per day with GG on at an airport. This is a signifiant amount of power to lose for running a couple of cameras at low resolution. Seems to be a problem for Rivians in general and not other EVs. Hopefully they can find a solution, because this amount of drain is pretty ridiculous.
it’s a pretty simple software solution. my audi has it. you can set an individual schedule for each day. i work shifts at a hospital and my schedule is different each day. this kind of system works well. would love to see rivian implement it. pretty shocked they don’t have it and a legacy OEM...
I honestly haven't been following the Cybertruck's development. I remember hearing years ago it would be pretty cheap and have 500 miles of range though. Can't say i'm super surprised given Musk's track record. Seems like a big "meh" of an announcement given the promises. I hope the customers...
I don't think i've ever been more aware of anyone's opinion on something in my life than that guy's. Had to block him. Got tired of reading the same freakin thing over and over again.
For the people who had their wheels balanced and then alignment done by rivian...and still had this problem -- did you ever figure out what the issue was?
If you drove the Rivian even less, the efficiency would be even worse. But those numbers improve once the battery is up to temp. You are extrapolating off of numbers when the car will be most power hungry while heating up the battery. This is not an accurate way to guess your range.
Also...
Just because the temperature of the battery isn't increasing doesn't mean the battery isn't being warmed. I think it's reasonable to assume it's just trying keep the battery at a steady temperature.
But if the car isn't given you any errors, you are probably just over thinking it with all the...
I think a more accurate takeaway from that video is that while they are good in the snow compared to other all terrain tires, they are still not comparable to a true winter tire.
I put michelin x-ice snow in 275/60R20 on them (well, tire rack did and sent them to me mounted).
No rubbing. It's essentially the same OD as my stock 275/65R21 set.
I think they would give you a hard time, even though it would be fine (load rating is a bit less). But that's a pretty high price for these tires. I paid $280 per tire for these last month from tire rack (different size)
