I met up with one half of s00nish, David, yesterday and he handed me some goodies, including this charger. Super nice guy and they have some other cool products in the pipeline!
When I came home, I immediately got to installing the charger and I am happy to report it took me less time than the...
I ended up buying the Garmin Powerswitch. It seemed like a more reputable/ Higher quality version of the Trigger system mentioned earlier.
So one thing that is worrying me a little is whether or not these kind of wireless systems will drain the 12V battery when the truck is not is use? They...
In doing some more research, this may be a good option too, as most of us will have our phone in the truck, so you don't have to worry about bringing/ losing a light fob.

The only thing I am curious about is whether we have enough room behind the frunk...
I bit the bullet and bought some Diode Dynamics SS3 White Max Combo Pods and the DCE brackets today.
The guys at DCE use the SWITCHPRO's 6 switch panel on their optima truck, so they went the wired route.
So in the interim I bought a kit on amazon to try out, let's see is it works...

Also, I always understood that lipo batteries needed special chargers, so is the charging system in the Rivian compatible with/ capable of charging lipos without introducing a potential fire hazard?
And with the financial strain they are in, I can't see them diverting resources to it at the moment. The Camp Kitchen was one of the selling points of the truck for me, so I hope that they'll come out with it at some point.
There are alternatives being developed though. I am currently signed up...
I agree, while the sliders themselves look really good, the first thing I saw when looking at the mounting locations was that it has a single row of fasteners, so no way to counteract leverage, other than the bolt heads. (or the doors, once the slider bends upward enough to make that a...
I would have to re-tetris some stuff, but I think you have a point. As long as the actual bike wheel contraptions fit with this in place, we could have a winner.
I am in the same boat and I would be worried that it would render the molle panel useless, other than the bike rack attachment. But since that can be attached to the bed itself, essentially I would have wasted a bunch of money on the molle rack.
Sure.
To be fair though, the timetable at time of pre-ordering suggested these would be on the truck already.
That said, I appreciate they use a first-time-right approach over a rush job to be first to market.
The fact that I entrusted them with my funds, is that I believe them to deliver a...
