eh, arguable. EV "industry standard" seems to closely couple motor with what would generally be considered trim elsewhere

Each has a different motor configuration or different motor specs. Most would argue these are Tesla's implementation of...
If it was A or B, there was still a software bug: DM vehicles had a message prompting them to swipe to see the new gauges; swiping did nothing.
The simplest answer has always been that the lack of gauges was a bug. Not that Rivian had a master plan to *silently* omit it from DM to...
How certain are we this isn’t a software bug? Do we have confirmation that the gauges aren’t bound for the dual motor from any Rivian source other than Customer Support Representatives?
Not sure I’d put much stock into what CSRs say. The fact that the screen still has the swipe call-to-action...
Yes I will hesitate.
Mostly because of exterior fit & finish. The inconsistent panel gaps, panel alignment, panel shape (stamping?). And if they’re like Tesla this won’t be much improved in a decade.
I wish it only affected some R1’s, but I watch deliveries taking place from the service...

Kind of sad that I remember the normal rate being close to the new TOU rates as recently as...
