Speaking of Fisker, anyone been to NYC lately? Theres a ton of them running around as Ubers. Makes me wonder if guys bought them cheap at liquidation and drive them until they die.
I just installed one of these as well and no reboot issues.
I am partial to OEM stuff vs aftermarket but it's a great solution for 1/2 the price the Rivian re-design might be. Looks clean.
Only comment I had is the MagSafe magnets are so strong that the whole thing sometimes lifts up when...
same reason people bought Alfas, Jeeps or any other car that's fun to drive. The emotional attachment is stronger than the practical one.
Everyone has different tolerance thresholds. You seem to have met yours and sold it. I still love mine.
Add me to the list. Never noticed this before but yep, only vents on the passenger side when waking from sleep. When car is awake, it vents both sides correctly.
Did either of you open a ticket or get an answer on this?
I might be in the minority but I had zero issues with PAAK and BLE in Gen 1. Since I got my Gen 2, this digital key / UWB implementation has never been as reliable or consistent (for me)
yes, just posted the same in another thread. Something has happened in the last few updates where it's gotten progressively worse. I have proximity off at home and the iOS app just sits there and times out. If I force quit the app and re-attempt, the car unlocks instantly.
I think it's a SW bug but not sure if it's on the iOS side or Rivian. My proximity unlocking has been trash since these last updates. I have an UWB / Digital key set up and turned on the old Bluetooth PAAK option in the app, neither work very consistently.
From the phone, it will just sit...
1st post!
With the All Terrain option, you get a few extra off-road drive modes unlocked (at least I did on my DM R1T) that would normally only show up in the regular DM R1 with a Performance upgrade. Sand mode I think it was.
Also if you didnt notice it yet, you get a full size spare...
Is this really a challenge? I’d be happy I got a loaner, pay a few $ at a Supercharger and move on.
When I got loaners at BMW (just pointing out the “luxury” comparison all the time), I had to put gas in them. I usually brought it back with more than they gave me.
For giggles, I dropped it to 'Lowest' on the way home. The rumbling wasn't there. Also stayed quiet in 'Low'. Sport mode > Lowest/Low > Firm/Medium were all no chatter from the rear.
Getting OT - Lots of tips posted in here for where to look but this is one that I had, didnt see posted and took me a good month to find. Maybe it helps. Drivers side footwell under the dash. Pull that cover off and add some felt.
I also had the clicking steering wheel which is a spring or...
I notice similar. I've even tried to keep track if it changes with different software updates. Futile. Add to that, most of the winter the truck was pretty quiet but now that things are warming up, I hear the rumbling again everywhere. Mechanically, it's all still in good shape.
Yep. See...
Thats the thing. Other than an obvious dampener leak, etc - I am not sure there's a mechanical issue or just the way it is with the half shaft design, etc.
My Gen1 T was very chattery at the front. My Gen2 S is quieter overall but a little rumbly at the rear (something I didnt hear with the T...
