Just one data point;
I renewed my registration on 4/15 and just received the RUC notice in the mail yesterday. So,,, they did let me renew without a paid RUC but the notice came pretty quickly (compared to the 1st year when it was 6 mos later) and says you have 30 days from receipt of notice...
No doubt. Every year that I've submitted a state tax return showing refund due, they just laughed.
Yeah, only if you have 'TRUCK' on your tag and go to a non truck. I always thought it was based on vehicle weight but it must just mean anything with a bed. I've seen Mavericks with Truck tags...
PA uses a Truck tag for the T but not the S (despite S I think being heavier). So when I traded in the T, I had to get a new plate > which inevitably triggered a new PUC notice. I was prepaid for 2years on my registration for the T and they refunded/credited me zilch. I ended up ignoring the PUC...
Thx. 70/30 or clear would be my pick.
I had a few tiny bubbles (again, I’m impatient) but they all disappeared after a day in the sun.
IIRC there was also an 8mil / 10mil option. I found the 10mil easier to work with - more forgiving on moving around and squeegee.
I did the front using the TWraps kit - headlights and light bar. I have the least amount of patience for this type of stuff and it wasn't hard.
I used the "light smoke" 70% light / 30% dark kit. IMO, I wanted something that blended in. Anything darker and it stands out. I had the same kit on...
Buy the cheapest one you can find with enough warranty time to identify any issues and consider adding this https://www.xcelerateauto.com/ for the long term. Very little is self repair and likely a $700+ bill.
Only other thought is mid to late Gen 1 switched to a single 12v. If you’re watching...
Indeed. I have the Goodyears and they’re pretty Goldilocks close for noise, efficiency, cost and looks but I want the 34” option! Not sure why GY won’t offer it.
The compressor for the suspension will run at start up - particularly if sitting long or using kneel mode.
just be sure it’s not running constantly and nothing loose.
No. What you have sounds more like the air compressor running for the suspension which is “normal” unless running excessively.
is it really from the front or just how you’re hearing it? The compressor sound should be coming from the rear. Do you use kneel mode?
when turning the steering wheel? If so, thats a known thing. A spring or something in there dragging.I had it fixed once and it came back pretty quickly on the replacement.
I also seem to have one in the left air vent only when AC is on (like a leaf fluttering in there). Goes away when heat...
