Us too! Our R1S was totally dead after a couple days while plugged in and garaged. Ended up towed and replacing 400V battery and 12V battery. They said there was a loose cell as well. We have 10K mi.
Have had this happen several times but not because of an interrupted manual charge session. They just replaced my wall charger yesterday. Will see if it fixes
You should be fine for your $7500 tax credit. You won’t need to do anything with the binding purchase agreement to get it, just need to have on file - I amended my 2022 returns and got refund in like 2 weeks. Price was a steal for the vehicle (pre-hike + tax credit) IMO. Very happy with ours.
Also, the car was charging while initiating the update and it aborted and I wasn’t able to charge until after completion. Had a red light at charge port and had to unplug and retry. More of the same with charging bugs. Hopefully this update improves this.
Updated last night. Affected by the last gorked update so was a bit gun shy this time around. On first attempt received a failed update notification on my phone that said to check the screen in the vehicle for more info - nothing to see there. Initiated the update again from the car this time...
I found it strong for a few days but not bad at all. And ultimately I did enjoy and appreciate the fact that it smelled like a new car. My Tesla Model 3 never had much of a new car smell from day 1. ??‍♂️
