In my defence, each size of this tire has different max PSIs. I saw 80 for a size and took it as gospel for all sizes.

Reviving this thread. I have an Atturo Trail Blade ATS 275/50R22 on order which appears to have a max PSI of 40 (based on their website). Has anyone pumped these up to 48 without issue? Or do I need to live with TPMS errors at 40? Lol!

It depends on the highways you travel on and how keen the local police are on certain stretches. My wife was stopped on a stretch on Merritt Parkway, CT at +7mph over the limit. These devices just warn you of police presence on certain stretches. Some folks find them useful, others don’t.

Well, how you use it depends on your level of maturity.

For what its worth, the R1S is a 7,000lb vehicle not an 8,500lb vehicle, and I don’t think folks buy jammers/detectors to intentionally drive far in excess of the speed limit. But exaggerations help with the narrative I guess. Thanks for your safety bulletin.

The 2 threads have different timelines. The chorus of voices on the other thread has definitely made me think twice about activating Driver+ again…or is it Highway Assist? FFS, I’ll never get it right!
