@HaloEyes would you know if the Deutch connector to the passenger side horn is accessible through the wheel well? I’m trying to avoid splicing the wire and use a Deutch splitter instead.

So for passenger side horns, is it feasible to remove the stock horn and replace it with a dual-tone horn. No splicing etc.? I would assume so.

And one more for the horn upgrade!

@Npa201 as an aficionado of ICE vehicles and german engineering, I have to say that after driving the R1S, I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I’ve fallen in love with this freaking thing, and I hope you do too. Nice stable of cars by the way.

The Chilewich mats aren’t as thin as I had thought - they have a felt-like backing too. Water seems to collect “into” the mats and doesn’t seep through to the carpet. The mats also seem to have fabric edges, which would provide some barrier to water just shedding off. Time will tell how well...

For anyone looking to make their Chilewich mats waterproof, flip them over and spray the backs with Flexseal clear. Creates a rubberized finish and stops water bleeding into the carpets. ?

For anyone interested in using the holes in the R1S tie-down anchors for a telescoping luggage bar, the Mopar 68218339AA fits perfectly into the holes, and stops items shifting around in the cargo area.

The Audi telescoping luggage bar ends (Audi 4M08603784PK) clip in perfectly into the holes and can be released with the spring mechanism on the luggage bar. However the fully extended Audi luggage bar is 1” too narrow to fit the R1S (43” vs 44”) I found other version of the telescoping...
