  1. DCE Rock Sliders on R1T - Baja Test Video

I signed up to get notified if they ever got made, but haven't heard anything at all... Lots of places taking preorders, nobody delivering yet.
  2. Does Stability "Off" really mean Off?

TL;DR: probably not, but possible with software updates. So my experience isn't directly applicable but may give insight into the issue: how motor controllers work. This problem has been tricky for electric motorcycle and dirt bike manufacturers for a while, because most motor controllers are...
  3. Tested 35" tires on the R1T - for offroading / overlanding

Ooo this is fantastic! I'm gonna do some math and I think now that we have a known maximum backspacing (inner limit) and a maximum outer limit... This should get interesting!
  4. Tested 35" tires on the R1T - for offroading / overlanding

I don't really care for now, will just go speed of traffic, there are no TPMS sensors in them either, since I figured I may not have these rims for too long now that those sexy beadlocks are out! From my experience on my other trucks, its safe to assume a 10-15% range hit with the heavier...
  5. GLACIER WHITE R1T Photos

Hey all - I've seen lots of experimentation by lots of people (including myself) on trying to stuff as much tire onto these trucks as possible for offroad/overland purposes. So, I wanted to consolidate what I've found into one place, and will try to cite sources where possible. I'm going to...

  7. Forged wheels for off roading

^Totally valid opinions, but I'm not entirely doing this for looks. It's about finding the largest tire that fits on the truck without tearing it up. Maximizing tire size has a few offroad benefits: - Larger diameter tire increases ground clearance. - More sidewall and tire width means larger...
  8. Forged wheels for off roading

Yessir. ID: 67.1MM OD: whatever the wheel mfg specifies. https://www.uswheeladapters.com/shop/hub-centric-rings-aluminum/
  9. Random 20 Inch rims (cheap) for snow tires

Haven't tried! When I get the truck back I'll see if it does.
  10. Forged wheels for off roading

Correct they're BFG KO2 tires 285/65R20 on Raceline wheels are 20x9" +18 offset. Raceline is also willing to make a beadlock set but I wasn't going to commit to that until I've done a full test on tire sizing since its significantly more expensive (but still less than those EVS ones). Wheels...
  11. Wind Noise

Opened my passenger window for the first time today and now getting a crazy whistle as described in this thread. Good times, submitting ticket today. Bummer. Delivered with dents, tonneau cover broken after return from dent fix, a rattle in the back seat assembly, now this. So far so good on...
  12. Random 20 Inch rims (cheap) for snow tires

It will absolutely work, I would just size an appropriate winter tire like a blizzak or something with the OEM 275/60R20 size
  13. Random 20 Inch rims (cheap) for snow tires

That's the fun part! I'll see just how bad the rubbing gets in a full test shortly on another thread. I don't mean to derail this one too much
  14. Random 20 Inch rims (cheap) for snow tires

As a quick follow-up from my previous post. The Raceline 20x9 +18 offset wheels with 285/65 BFG A/T KO2 tires measured at just a hair under 35" diameter it seems are the absolute largest that can be comfortably run without tearing up the fender liners at wheel lock and compression. I don't have...
  15. Random 20 Inch rims (cheap) for snow tires

@iKnowKenMeadows So I just fit up a set of these today: 950B Gauge – Raceline Wheels PN 950B-29055+18 and can 100% confirm they fit with plenty of caliper clearance, and at $330/ea they're not a terrible price. I'm looking at oversize tires so can't comment on any tire fitment issues in the...
