Yeah. I'm in the July/Sept estimated delivery window so I'm starting to wonder if my configuration will determine whether or not my delivery happens. Don't want the power version but I'm also not going to wait six months (or six years) for the manual one...
Seems odd but I don't think I've...
Any reports of people taking delivery of anything other than the powered tonneau? My order of preference is 1) manual cover, 2) no cover, 3, buggy and guessing soon-to-be recalled power cover.
Just curious if anyone has been able to order and receive delivery of 1 or 2?
Well, OC is technically something that is more "pretend available" versus "previously available"... :)
I suspect you're on the right track though. They are likely going to keep things off the configurator that they have no hope of fulfilling in the foreseeable future. Would make for a better...
There is indeed a giant conspiracy afoot but I’m afraid that you all have it completely backwards. The initial vehicles are all plagued with little production issues and software gremlins. Rivian is forcing these buggy vehicles on the customers that it hates the most. Any delay is a gift. It...
I have only experienced OPD at the Rivian first mile event and didn't find it that difficult to adjust after just 20 minutes of driving. I currently drive an ICE so the experience was totally new to me.
I do find it interesting however that nobody has bothered to mention that we're talking...
Not sure I get all the angst. We’re in the July-September cohort. Last I checked it’s currently May. Sure, our friends at Rivian haven’t exactly given us a lot of confidence in their ability to deliver but maybe wait another 4 months before losing your ****? If you’re pissed because they haven’t...
Broke my right foot, had surgery, got three screws put in, and had to wear a boot. After some practice laps in the neighborhood, learned how to successfully drive my (automatic) SUV using my left foot only. Please wait until you’re off the pain killers before attempting.
I really like limestone. It’s basically Audi’s Nardo Gray. Should look fine with FE. I currently have El Cap with FE but I’ve flirted with limestone a lot.
Let’s assume my YouTube button is broken and unfortunately I’ll never be able to make it through this video. What exactly did Rivian lie about? Anyone care to paraphrase?
I’ve owned three Audis and two BMWs and (in spite of many, many test drives) have never owned a Mercedes because I can’t stand the way that they drive. And their SUVs drive way worse than their sedans. No, Mercedes has not locked up the luxury electric SUV market with one vehicle that will 100%...
Could not care less. Buying an off road capable adventure vehicle that drives itself has always seemed like a contradiction. I guess you can load the back with self driving electric powered bicycles and powered surfboards but why not just save all that money and surf in the metaverse with...
Well the OP didn’t really specify where the favorite winter destination was. If it’s at the top of a hilly muddy snowy off-road trail, then point taken. If it’s cruising on a plowed interstate to Tahoe, the 20” ATs seem sufficient.
