Thanks, I assume you mean the F150 but aren't those currently just as available as a Rivian?
I'd like to see the Audi up close but it looks like a sedan. Not great reviews. So so range.
Not sure that I'm a Hyundai kind of guy.
VW: not sure it'd work with big dogs. Range looks good.
Volvo...
Really just want something that I can put snow tires on and stay planted on the interstate during a blinding snowstorm. I've driving the Donner Pass in northern CA for 20+ years in a various AWD Audi/BMW and never had an issue.
That's why I'm asking the question... :)
I've been in pre-order limbo for two years, so was hoping to stop anyone from suggesting that I go get in line for a Tesla Cybertruck... My local Mercedes dealer says they'll have EQB in stock between August and October, FWIW.
Looking for any...
Can't be a sedan. Does not work with two big dogs and ski stuff... SUV, truck, wagon only. (There are no wagons and no trucks, so would have to be SUVs.) Also no Teslas.
I've had a reservation for two years and (supposedly) my delivery window is fast approaching. Ha.
After a really fun test drive of a Rivian in Sonoma last fall, I haven't really wavered in my commitment to follow through on the purchase but this company is clearly having quality control issues...
You’re right. They don’t owe us that, which is probably why they won’t do it. The only people they need to apologize to are ones who had their delivery window sail by without delivery. A lot of people are not complaining that their delivery window went by but rather are complaining because they...
Yeah... but... the guidance about the OC has been communicated after the fact. (I have since changed my config accordingly.) I do not want the powered tonneau but have kept in my config anyway with the smug confidence that it's going to be recalled and I probably won't open it until they issue a...
Good news. Could be an incentive to purchase with the 21s (for better range) and buy aftermarket 20s (for fun in the mud)... Don't know anything about these but I just like knowing there are options and cheaper than OEMs at that.
Nobody (outside Rivian) really knows how widespread this issue is. We live off of anecdotes here on the message boards because (in an information vacuum) what else are we going to do? But we're talking about dozens of reports of people jumping the line out of thousands of orders. This is also...
On the sports car to truck continuum, it drives more like a sports car. I used to own a BMW SUV and the Rivian drives much much better IMHO.
I also used to own a 911 and the Rivian doesn’t drive anything like a 911. But I also wouldn’t drive my 911 in a snowstorm, a muddy field, a sand dune...
Unfortunately for those of us in the next delivery windows, there really isn’t an option. You can get the power cover or you can wait indefinitely for a truck. Zero trucks have been delivered so far with the manual cover or with no cover. (At least nobody has reported receiving one so far.)...
Can't help but notice that they did not actually answer your question. This is neither a yes nor a no... but congrats on asking an "awesome" question! :)
I would love this answer. I haven't seen anyone report this happening as of yet. Seems silly that you'd move to the back of the line for rejecting the power option but there's a lot of silliness so who knows.
Well in some cases the electric one does not even appear to stand up to routine opening/closing... So I think your concerns are warranted. I suspect this is just one of those things that seemed like a good idea on a whiteboard but isn't holding up to real world conditions and now they are stuck...
