I would consider this as an option for use during a vacation. Meaning I would want to have it monthly a la carte. If it required a term subscription then it would not be worth it for the months when I'm not traveling. At least those are my initial thoughts

They were talking about length... The R1S is has a shorter wheel base which is indeed better for off-roading. Better breakover angle.
