I think it would be a huge mistake to advertise tank turn and then not support its use.... and while I'm not a huge fan of geofencing we have to have rules because someone will always abuse a privilege.... I could see some idiot pulling a tank turn on a public street and causing an accident...
I want to do some overlanding/camping in it... lot's of trails but no serious rock crawling. I am hoping we can get a group to do the Mojave road which looks very doable in this truck.
adding the jerrycan to the bus is an interesting idea.... I have no idea how they would integrate it into the cooling system but it certainly makes sense that a bus connector could be installed somewhere on the vehicle.... still lots of questions about if and where.... for example I think if...
I try not to be too paranoid... but my new tin foil hat told me these numbers might be important... Seriously, I doubt anyone could do anything nefarious with that number but it's also not important for anyone else to have the exact number. I think having the trend is awesome without anyone...
I should have said... no.... yeah skyote is correct it's 44K.... the leading # was part of the code.... I only removed the last 3 and replaced with ###..
If I had to guess you used ABRP and hit several Electrify America charging stations. Electrify America seems really really expensive right now. I am hoping for some competition to get their prices down.
You didn't say which battery you were planning to buy. With the 180kWh pack....If I had...
The air curtain is definitely there.. I went back to the video of the families coloring the truck and at the 40-41 second mark you can also see the air curtain barely.... I'm not as convinced that you are seeing rock rails though..... that just looks like the black body cladding that is in the...

Don't forget Rivian has mentioned offering a "Portable Jerrycan" battery pack. I have no idea how much range vs size/weight is going to be available. I would think portable battery would have to offer 25 miles of range to be remotely usable. I just did some quick math....
Assuming the 180...
I'm not in California but when I get mine I would love to drive out west and join a group for an adventure... Like doing the Mojave trail..... or other overland adventure that's a little lighter on the rock crawling side of things....
180 kWh - as this is my first EV of any type I have severe range anxiety. I am at the tail end of raising kids so the extra seating is not needed (I've done my last car pool).... unlike 95% or maybe it's 99% of you I expect this to be a regular long distance travel vehicle very rarely used...
A Risk for the CyberTruck is that what they deliver may not be what's been shown. I don't follow Tesla much but I thought I heard they were having to "shrink" the size somewhat from what was shown at the reveal.
I ordered mine in April so Q2 2020 which puts me into January of 2023 by your chart. But I am also buying a 180 kWh pack which may change my position in line a little since they are planning to build the high and mid capacity vehicles first. (Can't help wondering how many orders are for the...
