I was at that Whole Foods yesterday! That parking lot is the worst. The spaces are too close together. I agree and will definitely park next to other Rivians in the wild if the opportunity presents itself.
Thanks, Steve. I'm eager to know what they say. The mention of the "humidity sensor" is suspicious. Please let me know if you learn anything.
Cheers,
Ash
Not that you had a lot of time to react, but you can throw it in reverse if you're moving slow enough. I love how quickly my R1T goes back and forth between D and R when maneuvering.
Is this the annoying feature that keeps turning off recirculation while I'm driving past the horrid smelling mushroom farm on my commute?! Lord I hope they give me back control of the aircon instead of some sensor that's suppose to know better. If I could find that sensor, I would disable it...
It's stronger than I expected. I tie my son's bike to the holes in the chocks, so there's a decent amount of pull on it when I accelerate. I used 3 series stainless fasteners, in part because they won't rust as easily, but also because they'll stretch and deform a decent amount before...
Mine have been so useless, I thought it didn't have heated mirrors. I keep a microfiber towel in the front seat for the screens and have just found myself taking the time to clean the mirrors before hitting the road. On a side note, it's pretty cool that everything in the truck is centrally...
I know right? I was thinking I could make the fasteners on the bottom longer so they penetrate by 10-15mm, then add a support brace across the back inside the gear tunnel, but it turned out to be necessary, imho.
Wow, if there's so much Tesla hate here, how much crap will I catch for this? Can't we all just get along? The Cybertruck is going to be sick. Looking at it might make you feel sick, but I have no doubt the performance and capability is going to be insanely good. By the way, I love my R1T...
Sure thing. I'll snap some pics next time we go. We usually ride at least once a week, but a decent storm just rolled through. It's gonna be a week or so.
I guess there is something good about having a 22lb squirrel eating feline in the house. Curly here only leave little bits of evidence that he's had an outdoor meal. My sympathies to the OP. That sucks. At that price, I might repair it myself if at all possible.
Hey friends,
I finally had the time to work on this project to make it much easier to tie down our dirt bikes in the bed of my R1T. I thought I would share. This is a custom welded frame with five different slots for various sizes and number of bikes. The holes serve as tie down...
I just looked closely at my R1T and took some measurements to see if these gladiator steps could be made to fit. They are a very close fit at 91" long. What I realized that is pertinent to this post is the doors on the Rivian come all the way down to the bottom of the rocker panels. They're...
Those are sick! If the length of those works out, I would consider making my own mounts to put them on my R1T. Need to watch some reviews first, but I'm seriously going to consider it. My friends don't call me Captain Custom for nothing.
It doesn't make it all that more complicated, but it's very unlikely your solar inverter/s would be able to produce power while the truck is plugged in. It's possible, but it would require some specialized equipment and software to function like a power wall. The difficult part is when your...
