Any info if the .35 update changed anything about Elevation audio? I'm on .31 and like it, so if it has regressed in .35 I'm going to hold off on updating.
My Model 3 has this delay on the back-up camera fairly frequently and it's annoying even on a car with the ultrasonic sensors and a rearview mirror. I'd be PO'd if this happened while driving a CT since you have neither of the other detection methods.
Looks great! That's the motor config I would order if getting a new one today. Which interior? I really like the slate/walnut, but doesn't look like they are building that one yet.
We tow a 20FB and are averaging around 1.25 mi/kWh at about 60-65 mpg, to about 1.4 mi/kWh when going 55 or slower - this is over about 3000 towed miles. We have a Quad Large on 20" AT tires. We also often have stuff on the roof rack and bikes in the truck bed (over the tailgate - we remove the...
Oh no! I was liking the sound of my Elevation system (2023 Quad). I wouldn't mind a bit finer gradation, but when I wanted it pounding I was turning it up to 20 for some songs!
I thought that at first too but later a mention of āseparatorā is made, which is within the cell itself. I wonder which specific cell the Jeeps are using vs our cellsā¦
I'm using an Anderson with a 20FB Flying Cloud which has a tongue weight (dry) of 650 lbs - fresh tank loaded (located behind the axle) along with all our gear up to the 5,000 lbs GVWR, tongue is around 600 - 620 depending on if I have both propane tanks full or not.
A few things to keep in...
IIRC the various pack tear-downs on the original (ie Gen 1) Large packs showed the gross capacity was 141 or 142 kWh, with usable originally at 128kWh, later expanded by Rivian to 131kWh (I can't recall which update it was, late 2022 or spring 2023 I think? Was before I picked mine up in Sep '23)
We could also onshore much of the critical minerals back to North America. Canada and the US have quite a bit of nickel, cobalt and many other mined substances that go into EVs. We just have to be willing (as a society) to permit mines(designed with the environment and eventual closure in mind)...
I have a chip in the middle Iām considering fixing and while at the local glass shop the guy happened to mention they canāt fix stuff near/at the edges.
My original 2014 Leaf is just over 150k miles and has a bit over 70% of original capacity. Otherwise drives well still - tight steering, accelerates fine, still regens and fast charges (though only mid 30kW range now, down from mid 40kW). Materials holding up reasonably well too. Only...
At similar speeds I am getting about 1.20 - 1.25 m/kWh with my 20' Flying Cloud behind my Quad Large 20" AT.
I've considered pulling off a few things that stick out and adding some skirting to smooth out the underbody... but now I'm wondering if I should change to all seasons (eyeing up the...
the individual cells could likely handle a higher c-rate, but only if the pack was better at getting rid of heat. They could let the cells get hotter, but they will degrade faster so Rivian is striking a balance.
I'm happy to see that the LTX M/S2 is slated to come out in the 65 series rubber. I have the OEM 20" Pirellis, have a set of Nokian Hakka's in 65 series, and don't live close to a Service Centre, so until they offer in-car ability to change the tire size (like my Model 3 has), I really need to...
Wow I was all set to get a set of these since the hum on my Pirellis is starting to drive me crazy... now I'll be waiting to hear the resolution.
Separate question to the forum: I can't figure out what tire comes on a Gen 2 20" AT package - on the Canadian website at least, it still shows the...
