  1. OEM Drawer Replacement for Camp Speaker - Photo from Gen 2 R1S

Rivian doesn't need to get to those massive numbers in order for a third party to start making accessories for Rivian. Any one of these companies that make accessories for Tesla could make Rivian goodies as well, which to your point we'll likely see more of as the brand grows. There are even...
  2. OEM Drawer Replacement for Camp Speaker - Photo from Gen 2 R1S

I'm sure there will be some after market options soon as Rivian grows in popularity. Kind of like Tesla, you can find almost anything for it aftermarket, even the stalks they removed.
  3. Good bye R1S Bumpmobile. thoughts on ownership and the process

The 2021 suspension on the MYP is horrible and anything is better than those wooden stick for shocks. They improved it slightly for 2022 and in 2023 they really improved on the MYP's suspension a lot. Going from your 2021 MYP to the Rivian is a big leap. Good in a lot of ways if the 2021 MYP...
  4. What’s the safest, realistic way to get a canoe onto my R1S?

A+ on your garage organization and the Plaid grass. Impressive.
  5. New: Third row heated seats in 2025 R1S Gen 2 Refresh Model

Much of that is true, but it for sure it can be done. The KIA EV9 is a great example. There are some reviewers who are 6'3 and 6'4 who sat comfortably in it and it features a powered roof shade. Not adding one from the likes of Tesla and Rivian is simply due to cost cutting measures...
  6. What’s the safest, realistic way to get a canoe onto my R1S?

First thought that came to mind was to try one of these step stools from Costco. Much more stable all around than a regular ladder. We have a bunch of the black/yellow bins from costco in the RV garage stacked pretty high and I prefer using this vs a ladder as it's much more confidence inspiring.
  7. New: Third row heated seats in 2025 R1S Gen 2 Refresh Model

Now the pets can keep their bum warm. Much rather would liked to have seen 2nd row peasant shades or a roof shade. Huge missed opportunity.
  8. EPA Filling for additional 2025 models (R1 Refresh) -- Dual Max, All-Terrain Dual Max, Performance Dual Max, and All-Terrain Performance Dual Max

That's an obvious statement, but to clarify I was referring to a Rivian with a current large or max pack vs a variant if it were to have a 200kWh pack. "The time that it takes to charge for the actual amount that you need will be literally the same." (On a road trip, hopping from charger to...
  9. EPA Filling for additional 2025 models (R1 Refresh) -- Dual Max, All-Terrain Dual Max, Performance Dual Max, and All-Terrain Performance Dual Max

Actually that depends. It's not as cut-dry as it seems and depends on the scenario. If you're on a road trip hopping from charger to charger, you're not going from 0% to 100%. (Usage habits) The time that it takes to charge for the actual amount that you need will be literally the same. Also...
  10. Jason Camissa's verdict on R1 Gen 2: Substantial update to a near-perfect vehicle

I think that may be a one off, because our in-law was one of the first in the State to get an IONIQ 5 Limited a few years ago and it has been great. Which EV9 model did you drive? I drove both the Land and GT-Line multiple times, and I preferred the GT-Line's suspension tuning.
  11. Jason Camissa's verdict on R1 Gen 2: Substantial update to a near-perfect vehicle

I agree and can attest to your comparison as our older X even drove smoother for sure. ? I about fell out of my chair! Our previous Palisade was more smooth as well. Awesome SUVs, both the Telluride and Palisade. On that note, the new KIA EV9 actually felt smoother in a lot of ways vs the...
  12. Motor Failure on Cross-Country Road Trip

Oh geez. That's just Tesla level of nonsense. Reading over the updates (thanks btw for keeping us posted) I was thinking the whole time "only if there were some fellow Rivian owners near by or anyone with a set up in their garage to lift off your roof top tent. But then again that would mean...
  13. New R1 Refresh spotted photos! [Updated w/ New Wheel Aero Covers pic]

Bingo. Having a larger R1S (extended / XL) variant would be ideal for all the reasons mentioned and more. The R1S is quite small inside and for those who do need a land yacht like a Denali XL/Suburban, a Rivian wouldn't even be cross shopped for a large family. I'm really looking forward to...
  14. Jason Camissa's verdict on R1 Gen 2: Substantial update to a near-perfect vehicle

1000% and that's not even exaggerating. His production is #1 among them all.
  15. New R1 Refresh spotted photos! [Updated w/ New Wheel Aero Covers pic]

I've been on the site all day lol. They don't have the leasing options for the TriMax yet, but for the rest they do. Interesting. Probably because the TriMax is the last to be released?
  16. 2025 R1T / R1S Refresh (2nd Gen) Reviews & First Looks -- Articles & Videos

Thanks for adding him to the list. He has the best production in the industry. Superb. Should have been on top of the list.

Interesting that the TriMax (Ascend) model only comes in: Black Mountain + Brown Ash Wood, For its dark option. Wish they offered black ash wood as well. Interesting choice of options. First world gripes.
