The chatter may lessen overtime, but that may mean the half shaft is simply wearing out. A new Half shaft might bring the chatter back. It's able to move freely within the linkage.
That's normal. There is a linkage in the middle of the half-shaft that has designed play in it to accommodate the 7 inches of adjustment to the suspension. That's annoying, but the bigger problem is that they start to fail and will vibrate under high torque.
It's almost a certainty that Rivian...
I love Sport Mode..... my only gripe is that the speed limits keep me from really letting loose.
This is being build 5 miles from me. Our own little Nurburgring.

Will these things ever be replaced with an updated design or new supplier? I finally started getting used to the chatter at low speeds, I accepted that the sound was part of the deal with a suspension this complex. But..... now my half-shafts are starting to rumble/vibrate under acceleration...
"The transaction occurred as Rivian’s stock, currently trading at $11.79, has experienced significant volatility, with InvestingPro data showing a -13.5% decline in the past week."
Is this really fair to include given the week?
Wow, this describes it perfectly. Between the chatter noise and now this, I can't imagine that this half-shaft design sticking around. It's just not working for this vehicle.
I was going to see how it was after changing tires, but now I'm thinking it won't change much.
This suspension might...
Does it sound like the sides of the tread are hitting the ground under rapid torque? Mine will do it in standard height, but it never happens in low height.
I was thinking it was a lack of road force balance.
