  1. R1S Collision Repair Ordeal

Is the R1S not drivable? A deer hit the side of her door (which looks minor) and it's completely disabled?
  2. R1S Collision Repair Ordeal

I knew this was going to be an issue from day 1. In fact I won't let my significant other drive the R1T due to the risks involved with accidents and repairs. When a storm comes, the Rivian gets the open garage slot and the Blazer EV gets the driveway. Are you really shocked by any of this...
  3. New Rivian dispensers and non competitive pricing

Rivian.... $0.39 - $0.45 a kWh for Rivian owners and a higher rate for non-Rivian owners would be more appropriate.
  4. 9 days into ownership r1s trimax, not impressed

Most vehicle heat pumps I have experience with are loud. Our Blazer EV has a loud heat pump as well.
  5. Dual Motor All Purpose not smooth now

I'm actually surprised this hasn't been fixed yet. I'm sure quite a bit of time and money is being wasted by the service center due to this.
  6. Dual Motor All Purpose not smooth now

I wonder how negligible the range figures are with stability reduced.... Which is the other way to lock in the rear motors.
  7. How Does the Dual Performane Upgrade Work? (Here's the Process & My Review)

The difference between the QUAD and DM PERF is on the expressway between 80-110. From 0 to 80 it feels very similar. The Tri and Quad have more power in those higher speeds. That's my take.
  8. Gen 2 tie rods stronger than Gen 1?

    I have a 2024 built Gen 1. Are all 2024 M16?
  9. The New Rivian NACS Port--Where Should It Be Located?

The R1T is a towing vehicle, it should be in the front left. I hope this never changes. Tesla is in the wrong spot. Backing into a space is stupid. EDIT: I could see a solid use-case for the right side due to curb parking. How about front right?
  10. Dashboard Rattle - Solved using rubber seal strip

Does anyone have a picture of the dash opened up?
  11. Dashboard Rattle - Solved using rubber seal strip

Same boat. This and a door rattle will both be tackled at some point.
  12. The New Rivian NACS Port--Where Should It Be Located?

Keep it where it is. Trailering requires a front plug unless a trailer bay is specifically installed.
  13. First Time Used Buyer- 39,000 Miles Too Much?

I wouldn't hesitate. That's about the same residual left on my R1T at the end of my 36 month lease and I plan on buying the lease on this.
  14. So long and thank you

    800V charging curve is nice.
  15. Cabin temp control while parked?

Tucson -- the place where the outside air temp in July feels like the greenhouse inside of my vehicle in Michigan.
