Precisely! I work on the other side of the desk in the IT world so I very much understand the pacing of the upgrades. It's like "Helpdesk is getting flooded with stupid questions!, pause the update for a bit until volume goes down" :p

There are (indeed) less Gen2 in the queue compared to Gen1 That could very well be the case. BUT, also, edges scenarios of cars being bricked after a software update it should be within the normal parameters, sadly. Unless the percentage of bricked cares is more than X number, I don't see why...

I bet Rivian can monetize for people to be on the Day1 Upgrade list. Even Beta-testers... Some might even pay for the benefit of receiving Beta updates. :) I might be one of those, depending on pricing ;)

I think José from RivianTrackr commented that this would be included in a future release as the architecture between Gen1 and 2 are different (which would make total sense). But don't quote me here, I might be wrong!

Keep it plugged in to a L2 charger when not in use. Otherwise, you might get it to fully shut down and It'll need to be towed.
