I tow trailers a lot with both the Teslas and the Rivian. Most EV charging locations are not equipped for this configuration, which has contributed to the police being called on me three times now in the last 18 months.
Admittedly, my limited social skills probably have not helped in some of...
Most mobile EVSEs on the market today are cheaply made "dumb" units that do not include heat and voltage sensing routines to protect the wiring, the EVSE and vehicle.
It is for this reason I recommend using the Tesla mobile EVSE and the NEMA kit for mobile/plug-in use. It will sense the heat...
Coos bay, Roseburg & Shasta city are the last 3 I found with failing units. Many of them were blurry overnights where I'm not exactly sure where they were... A whole lot of miles in the last week.
Meanwhile, we are starting to see the RANs begin to fail.
The length of California and across the southwest this week, I hit a half dozen RANs with displays either starting to, or completely failed. They are nice systems when new, but this doesn't bode well for longevity.

Normal.
If the pothole upsets the suspension enough to cause wheel hop, even a slight one, it will engage the second motor so that full traction control on all four wheels is at your disposal.
I have tested this behavior in extremely slippery situations, and it is incredibly quick to respond...
Ignore "miles per hour" of charge. Obviously, since different vehicle's take different amounts of energy to go a mile, it is a useless statement and has no real relevance in the real world.
Amps or watt hours is how you should be measuring charge rate.
If you don't tape those lower hook points, a large bump can cause some slack when the suspension compresses and the hook could possibly fall out. I tape them up to make sure the hooks don't do that.
Another solution would be to drive slower.... But I choose the tape.

If tannau were open, it would pressurize the area in the bed and cause turbulence.
Running the air over the top, reduces that turbulence, and makes it more efficient.
