Not a design flaw - I've had several vehicles that require you to put the wipers in service mode before you can lift them away from the glass. If they didn't do this, the wipers would sit higher than the rear lip of the hood, potentially increasing noise and drag. Plus it's much cleaner look...
Getting cargo in and over over the sides of the bed should be...fun.
Seriously, how do you get to anything that's at the front of the bed without crawling up and into the bed from the back? Better hope nothing slides forward while heavy braking.
The 20's come with 3-peak rated Perellis. They were fine last winter. Not spectacular, but good enough for around town and weekend trips to the mountains.
How is it 10 hours of labor for tailgate and hinges? That seems asinine, as does 9 hours of painting. I have almost no mechanical ability and am pretty sure I could swap a tailgate in about an hour.
But what do I know?
Thanks for this.
I would love a similar write-up on how to adjust the bottom of the rear doors. I've always felt like the bottom of both my back doors are inset more than the front. But, no idea how to fix it and it's not enough to ask the SC to work on it.
Anyone? Bueller?
I’m just east of it by a mile or two. Nothing big enough to cause damage. Should be fine.
That said, I was thinking that the SC is probably going to need to install some protection in their storage lot asap, just like all those dealerships out in Lakewood do. Rivian has a ton of very expensive...
OP - Very sorry that happened to you, but glad the damage was relatively minor.
Here in Denver, running from an accident has now become the norm, even when it’s vs a pedestrian or cyclist. Deadly hit and runs have risen nearly 70% in the last 2 years. It’s honestly quite disheartening.
UGHHHH. So sorry to hear about this, Sgt Beavis! I hope that you're able to get up and running quickly, and am glad you and the family are ok.
Seems like people just lost their minds on Saturday. We made a quick drive down to centennial, and passed 3 different rear-end accidents just along...
Discount doesn't need the pucks to change/repair the flat. It makes it a lot easier on them, but there are specific instructions on how to lift the vehicle without the pucks in the user manual.

Same. I think it's a good, convenient design. And it's exactly what they've described from the very beginning (interlocking removable slats that can be stored in the Gear Tunnel). The only thing I see that they didn't follow through on is the ability to turn it into some sort of table.
