As Tesla Supercharger rates are now much more competitively priced compared to RAN stations, I was looking at the Tesla monthly membership for an upcoming road trip in 3 weeks. I also have a shorter trip this Saturday where I can use a Supercharger to get back home. If I join the membership now...
My scorpions were LOUD at 27,000 miles. Put on the Defender M/S 2 and they are whisper quiet. Getting better efficiency too. Wouldāve gone with the Goodyears but tire shops around me wonāt put them on because they are smaller than the door sticker.
Update:
Had my mobile service today to investigate the BMS issues. Tech basically stated that the range estimate now fluctuates and takes battery temperature into account. Wouldāve been nice to include this information in the .47 update notesā¦
If companies are going out of business because someone had a bad customer service experience, here are a few more companies that will be going out of business soon:
Comcast
AT&T
Tesla
Ford
GM
Marriott
Wal-Mart
Target
Wells Fargo
McDonaldās
You get the idea
Got the Michelin Defender M/S 2 in 275/65r20 put on today. First impression is that they are nearly silent compared to the stock Pirellis. Canāt wait to see what the efficiency numbers look like but Iām guessing at least as good and probably better.
Here are some recent 70% charging limit ranges. The BMS is all over the place. Iāve charged to 100% to see if it will calibrate but obviously it hasnāt worked.
Had to go with the Michelin 275/65/20 over the Goodyears. No one around here will put a tire on thatās smaller than the door sticker. They go on Saturday. I have a 2300 mile (round trip) in 2 months, fingers crossed on the efficiency.
