Just returned the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L with shiny black pleather interior to enterprise. I needed the extra space to return some large items to UPS. Other than that it was awful to drive. Zero precision on the gas pedal and brakes. and the infotainment was a train wreck.

I don’t know how far you’re traveling tomorrow; if it were me, I would do some testing with DC fast charging and get a feel for what your efficiency is going to be. Because the question is if the problem is just with L2 charging, or you have a more systemic issue with charging in general.

That is not normal. I’ve never noticed any problem L2 charging at 20F temperatures. I suppose it could be your adapter, but I have the Gen 2 Tesla wall charger and the only difference is that the adapter is built into the unit.

I don’t think you can manually get the R1 to recognize it if it’s not on the map. I think Rivian can improve in thermal management.

Is your R1 a quad or dual? Gen 1 or 2?
