Can someone with a gen 2 create a shortcut to automate the climate control to confirm it works? I know it won’t pull from shore power like true climate scheduling but it seems like it would be a big improvement over no scheduling at all.

do you have an iPhone? I just played around with the shortcuts app and if you have the “start climate control” action button you can create a shortcut for that and schedule it to start at a certain time of day. I have a gen 1 but I assume you can still turn on climate control from the app...

You can set your Rivian to automatically connect to your phone’s hotspot when the phone connects to Rivian audio using shortcuts. I’m using this and there is no interaction required once it’s set up.

Hmm, still waiting for this update. I do not have connect+ so I understand I’m not prioritized, but this seems excessive. I’m on strong WiFi in the garage. It looks like over 85% of the fleet has received the update on electrifi. Are the remaining 15% all of the non-connect+ subscribers?

Why stop there? I would definitely involve the FBI, the ATF, possibly Ace Ventura if there were pets involved. And if you still have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.

I have the manual but I would really prefer to have the PTC. I have never had the option order it though. It was supposed to be available in the gear shop this summer/fall/2025/s00n. I also had to pay $1800 for the manual. I think I would be much more satisfied with it if I only paid $500.

My 2021 Tesla MY did not do this when new, but the functionality was added in the last 1.5 years or so.

I reached out to Electrafi. Connect+ is not part of the API so they don’t have the data. I agree, I would expect a bias towards Connect+. If people are willing to subscribe to Electrafi they are probably more likely to subscribe to Connect+.

You should have read the manual. It’s always stated that cellular connectivity requires a subscription even before they announced Connect+. We just didn’t know how long it would be included for free until a few months ago.

Which adapter are you using? I had a problem with my Tesla tap mini 80 amp that caused intermittent issues charging with my home Tesla charger. It required sending it back in to get it repaired under warranty.
