Yeah, exactly, just curious to see what the model pathing is doing when these issues occur. This could give insight into wether it's a model issue or something else.
If you have a route where that happens, please share a route with logs. I'd love to see what the model is trying to do - ie is it the model pathing that's drifting or is the pathing working fine but the steering isn't able to keep up?
You don't need to update to a Comma 4, the Comma 3X will work fine. The longitudinal upgrade is not required as the new angle-based harness has all that stuff built-in.
Just dropped a new video on the latest angle-based steering update for Rivian.
One of the biggest criticisms was the lack of cooperative steering, but Lukas listened and delivered. His new update brings coop steering to the angle-based harness and it makes a big difference in how the system...
Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be possible, at least not without some major modifications to the harness that probably don't make the procedure worth it - you'd have to take it out anyway.

Its just like if you were installing sunnypilot. Uninstall your current software and go through the installation process again. You'll get to a point where it asks you if you want to install Openpilot or Custom Software. Choose Custom Software and use that path.
Totally fair, it does look confusing at first.
The key thing to understand is that openpilot is open source. There’s no single “official” setup beyond the base system. People like Uncle Tony, Lukas, and Sunny (from Sunnypilot) are just community developers building on top of it, not some...
It's already here. Harnesses are available to purchase on the Xnor site. Be aware that Gen 2 support currently is at a level that Gen 1 support was at when it was first ported, meaning it is lateral (steering) control only. The Rivian still controls acceleration and braking - that also means...
