I think it's a bit more than that, because they do focus on EV tires and are recommending these specifically for EVs. Tesla drivers have had good things to say about them too.
That said I don't see the R5 in the 20" size that they are claiming.
Looks like Nokian added some Rivian specific details to their site including recommended winter tires for all 3 wheel sizes. Given their experience already with EV tires, these should be a good bet.

Scary, and don’t let an electrician convince you to use 6 AWG Romex wire if you want to charge at 48 amps. 8 out of 10 licensed electricians agree, I got one of the other 2.
If you haven’t realized it yet, you will be an early adopter if you take delivery now. These things are expected and if you aren’t ready for that please postpone so a willing early adopter can gladly take the vehicle. We will all thank you!
So Dr. Mario got the same job already done for 4k? Did they replace the whole panel? Sounds like you are being taken for a ride, the shop probably has no idea how to estimate labor on this?
Winter tires on the 22s would be much better than the ATs on the 20s. Nokian recommends a specific winter tire for the Rivian 22s:
“
RIVIAN R1S/R1T
Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta 10 SUV
275/50 R 22
Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV
275/50 R 22”

Evidently 6awg Romex is not to code when pulling 48 amps continuous on a 60 amp breaker. Even though my electrician used it! Now I had to downgrade the charger to only pull 40 amps.
Phantom drain - something that isn't factored into the charging cost or carbon footprint of EVs. As someone who will do mostly weekend trip, my R1S will sit idle in the driveway midweek and could lose half of it's charge just sitting there? Anyways i'm sure they will continue to improve it...
That's interesting, the second row look a bit tight for a 6' person in his video, and Rivian customer service told me the leg room is the same as the R1T but that was months ago so maybe they didn't really know for sure. Glad to hear there is a couple more inches in the S, as my oldest is 13...
