Itās not the cheapestā¦but I had been looking at the Michelin Defenders and was gonna be close to the same price so just let SC do it allā¦.the test drive cost annoys me but I did bring it in for an issue with the Pirelliās that they diagnosed.
Just did this and alignment has never been better with the Goodyears. With the service center, you know you are getting road force balancing too. Worth the extra money to have the SC do it all. Also, truck feel peppier, if thatās even possible.
Unfortunately, Iāve had this looked at too many times and as recently as 3 weeks ago had half shafts replaced again. The dual-motor loaner was super smooth compared to my quadā¦but the clunk in that with the rear motor kicking on with acceleration was just as annoying. Iām just going to live...
My alignment has never been perfect...this is with the stock AT Pirhelli's...I just had the SC put on 4 new stock Goodyear 20s and an alignment and now all is right with the world. Drive down to SA SC.
I checked with a tire gauge as I knew the truck would need to be driven for the monitor to be updated and accurate. When I got to work the screen had updated to 53/54 as I had let out a little air from each.
Pirelli's were howling and wearing strangely, so putting these on today (at service center cuz I'm lazy and don't wanna deal with DT.) Plus, need an alignment anyway. Looking forward to picking it up soon!
Edit: Oh wow. I can hear myself think again. š
They said my sub frame welds were fine...charged $290 for the full inspection. LOL. Was $200 a while back. Slowly scraping back the pre price hike discount us early adopters got.
So, Rivian replaced my half-shafts, but really no change in the way they sound, tbh. A little less clicking maybe. The bigger concern is that I took it in for that and replacing the windshield, and when I got it back it now pulls hard to the left and steering wheel wobbles left to right at...
