Mine just finished updating!

Took it on the highway and there is definitely more wind noise but it is subtle and minor. I can hear it kick in around 40mph+ but it is not bad at all to my ear. I hear more of the OEM 20 AT tire drone than the wind noise.

Taking on and off would be a royal pain! It is now a permanent part of the Rivian. I can’t imagine it would affect range that much and I use my roof rack pretty often hauling all kinds of things.

I have the 2024.7.2 and the PAAK seems like it isn’t working as well as before. I had to physically unlock my R1S twice with my phone where in the past update it worked pretty much flawlessly. Maybe they fixed it?
